The Position
As a Key Account Manager in Primary Care, you will be the GP´s go-to person when it comes to type 2-diabetes. You set the rules and the pace in your own district with the aim of ensuring access to our innovative GLP-1 portfolio among all relevant Healthcare providers across Örebro, Värmland, and Västmanland (mainly GP’s, Primary care Unit Managers but also Nurses). No day is the same in the field! It is only you who sets the limits on what to achieve in the daily work when interacting with Health Care Professionals and challenging old patterns, improving diabetes knowledge, and engaging in order to improve patients’ lives.
In collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager, you will lead the work towards strategic business planning, building the market and identifying new business opportunities in your region where innovative thinking can get you far and beyond territory sales targets. You will in some extent work cross-functionally with other Field Force functions such as Specialist KAMs, Regional Medical Advisors and Regional Market Access.
You will be responsible for sharing local better practices with your team in order to benefit from learnings across the market while building it. You will also be responsible for segmenting to maximize and unlock new business opportunities to drive business where you will apply a positive and winning, strategic approach.
Your main accountabilities will include:
- An ongoing interaction with customers (GPs and nurses, Primary care Unit Manager and other relevant stakeholders) in primary care to improve outcome of diabetes treatment
- Creating and following up on account plans to grow business including coordinating with other roles and functions
- Increasing diabetes knowledge in the district
- Building lecturers and GP ambassadors/influencers to activate the GP segment
- Driving multi-channel engagement activities
Qualifications
We expect you to have a genuinely patient-centred, highly ethical, and ambitious self-starter approach to your work. You are confident in engaging with customers both in field and remotely and are eager to bring new solutions and innovation to the team.
Furthermore:
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree as well as a LIF certification (or your background allows you to work in pharmaceutical sales in Sweden)
- You have at least a few years of experience in similar positions
- You are a fluent speaker of Swedish and English
- You have strong communication skills which allow you to collaborate easily with both colleagues and stakeholders
- Experience within the diabetes or cardiovascular therapy area will be considered an asset.
